AIR & Hydraulic Systems is now distributing the complete range of lockable ball, butterfly and diaphragm valves from Austrian thermoplastic valve manufacturer Praher Valves.
Air & Hydraulic Systems says all Praher butterfly valves, diaphragm valves and ‘S4’ type ball valves are now supplied with a locking mechanism at no extra charge.
According to Air & Hydraulic Systems, Praher’s locking mechanism allows the operator to select either the open or closed position of the valve and secure it in that position with a padlock or a similar device.
The butterfly and diaphragm valves have a hand lever or wheel which can be locked in open or closed positions and in a variety of increments between. The valves are also available with pneumatic or electric actuators, proportional controllers and position indicator switches.
