CLOUGH has been awarded a $45m contract to work on the Apache Energy and Santos joint venture Devil Creek gas project off Western Australia.

Clough says it will provide engineering and design works, procure all the permanent materials and equipment as well as assemble all the modules for the project’s onshore facility.

The scope of the work can also be increased with a mutual agreement between Clough and Apache.

Apache owns a 55% stake in the project, while Santos owns the remaining 45%. The partners say it will bolster Western Australia’s gas supply.
